We are seeking a dynamic and experienced All-Rounder Chef to join our team in the Real Estate and Construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a diverse culinary skill set and be adaptable to work in various environments—whether it’s preparing meals for construction workers on-site, catering for corporate events, or managing kitchen operations for company properties. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine your culinary expertise with the fast-paced world of real estate and construction.
- Catering & Meal Preparation: Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for workers on construction sites and for office-based staff, ensuring meals meet dietary requirements.
- Event Catering: Plan and execute catering for corporate events, meetings, and project launches.
- Menu Planning: Create cost-effective and nutritious meal plans, considering a range of dietary preferences.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee the cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of kitchen areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, place orders for supplies, and maintain an efficient stock system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, HR, and site supervisors to coordinate meal schedules and catering for employees and clients.
- Budget Control: Maintain budget constraints while providing high-quality meals.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and capable of adjusting to different types of settings—whether it’s a construction site or a corporate office environment.
Job Requirement:
- Proven experience as a chef: Minimum of 3 years in a professional kitchen environment preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety: Familiar with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Capable of handling dynamic kitchen settings.
- Strong organizational skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team: Self-motivated and collaborative.
- Experience with large-scale meal preparation: Catering experience is a plus.
- Passion for cooking: Creative approach to menu design.
- Certification in culinary arts: Culinary qualifications or related field.
- Experience in construction or real estate industry catering: An advantage.
- Ability to adapt to different cooking techniques: Versatile in preparing diverse meal styles.
