About Job Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Infrastructure division of our Real Estate & Property Management company. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale projects, ensuring that the planning, development, and execution of infrastructure-related tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
As a Junior Planning Engineer, you will support the planning team in managing timelines, resources, and budgeting to ensure that all infrastructure projects are delivered successfully. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, contractors, and project managers, learning and developing your skills in project planning, monitoring, and execution.
- Assist in developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Support senior planning engineers in analyzing project schedules, identifying potential risks, and proposing solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the smooth execution of infrastructure projects.
- Prepare progress reports and assist in tracking the completion of deliverables.
- Ensure that all infrastructure projects adhere to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and assist in budget control.
- Participate in site meetings to understand project progress and provide relevant updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in reviewing engineering designs and specifications to ensure they meet project requirements.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A strong understanding of infrastructure project planning and execution.
- Proficiency in planning software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards is a plus.
- Internship or prior experience in planning or engineering within the infrastructure or real estate sector.
- Familiarity with cost estimation and budgeting for infrastructure projects.
